Patrol Division

The Wayland Police Patrol Division is headed by Lieutenant Patrick Swanick. The Patrol Division is the largest section within the police department. The primary responsibility of the patrol division is to respond to calls for service. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, crime reporting and investigations, traffic enforcement, crime prevention, and community relations.

The Town of Wayland is broken into two sectors and has a specific cruiser assigned to that area.
