Hello and Welcome,
The Wayland Police Association is dedicated to supporting our members and their families in times of need, and to supporting youth related programs within the Wayland community. We are not currently fund-raising, and want all residents to know that no-one is authorized to solicit funds on behalf of the Wayland Police Association, or the Wayland Fire-fighters Association at this time. We have heard your complaints about professional fund-raising organizations and we have made changes. The W.P.A. and W.F.F.A. will be conducting their own fund-raising efforts this year the old-fashioned-way, by U.S. Mail, and 100% of the money you donate will be split evenly between the W.P.A. and W.F.F.A. There will be no high pressure, dinner-time phone calls, and no-one looking for a check left on your door. Look for our mailing sometime in March 2008.
Members of the Wayland Police Association would like to thank everyone for their continued support of both the Police Association, and the Police Department. Without your continued support we would not be able to continue in our efforts. The Wayland Police Association is dedicated and committed to the citizens of Wayland.
